OREANDA-NEWS. October 19, 2007. For the purpose of financing the project of building and outfit of the new fish canning complex in Kaliningrad Region, Transcapitalbank in July-October 2007 obtained from international financial institutions financing of import of modern fish working equipment for amount of approximately EUR 5,0 million. Deliveries of equipment are effected by well-known producers from Germany , France, Spain and Poland. The deal is notable for unconventional structure.

For realization of the project, approximately EUR 2,3 million are granted by German banking consortium AKA Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft mbH for the period of up to 3,5 years under the insurance cover provided by Euler HERMES Export Credit Agency. The rest EUR 2,5 million are financed within clean credit lines, which Transcapitalbank enjoys from the first class IFIs, on a pro rata basis to deliveries in July-October 2007 for the period of up to 3 years from the date of issuance of documentary letters of credit in favour of Exporters.
