OREANDA-NEWS. October 18, 2007. Ukrsotsbank leading in TOP-5 Ukrainian banks on the efficiency of the branch network. USB deputy chairwoman Iryna Kniazeva stated that today the USB network is times better as compared with competitors, reported the press-centre of Ukrsotsbank.

"We came to the conclusion that the volume of the loan portfolio less depends on the number of branches, Iryna Kniazeva said. Thus, Ukrsotsbank is the only among the Top-4 Ukrainian banks, which increased the share in individuals crediting market with 500 branches only. Our bank needs small 2.000 small offices (50—70 square meters), for instance, but efficient and optimal network. Routine operations can be carried out via alternative sales channels — self-service zones, ATMs, Call Center etc. But you can not perform mortgages in a small office. That’s why, we do not open less than 150—200 square meter branches in big cities. There is a standard: area, functions, products range, depending on the city area”.
