OREANDA-NEWS. October 18, 2007. 3rd round’s games of Russia championship for water polo were held in Volgograd and Moscow in October 4-6; and by results of first two rounds the group of four best teams and by results of last season four Russian Water polo leaders, which took places from 1st to 4th, took part in it.


Kazan team "Sintez" had first official matches for itself in season of 2007–2008 years, where "Sintez"’s rival teams were Astrakhan "Spartak" (04.10), Volgograd "Lukoil-Spartak-VGPU" (05.10) and "Lukoil-Spartak" (06.10).

Result of first away round of new season was very successful for Kazan team: Vladimir Zakharov’s protйgйs won a victory over teams: "Spartak" from Astrakhan (21:3) and "Lukoil-Spartak-VGPU" from Volgograd (14:2); and one duel against Volgograd "Lukoil-Spartak" was ended in a draw (7:7).
