OREANDA-NEWS. In September PJSC Azovstal Iron & Steel Works presented social project “Corporate card of Azovstal employee” which does not have analogues in Ukraine. Project is directed to the increase of Works employees welfare and contribution volumes by city commercial enterprises into local budget, reported the press-centre of Azovstal Iron & Steel Works.

Azovstal Iron & Steel Works, under the agreement of socio-economics cooperation with Mariupol city council, concluded contracts with shops and trading networks on interest discount for goods and services provision for Works employees and pensioners. In October, from the date of agreement conditions coming into force between Azovstal Iron & Steel Works and city commercial organizations, Azovstal employees and pensioners can enjoy allowable discounts having reduced expenses for definite good and services using corporate card.

Corporate card of Azovstal employee is a card of international payment system Visa, being complete analogue of card for salary receipt in cash machines. Card is used for cash withdrawal, payment and identification of Azovstal employees in commercial organizations with which Azovstal concluded cooperation agreement.

Project participants are different 18 largest companies which realize food commodities, furniture and utilities, construction goods, clothes, medicaments and range of services (hotel, restaurant, cafe, billiards). Discount interest in each trading network ranges from 3% to 10%. It is planned to conduct similar contract with other city companies.

“This social project is an addition to the family budget of Works employees, the most striking example of how enterprise image works for employees benefit”, noted Alexander Lyuby, Azovstal HR and Administration Director. In time value of this corporate card will grow significantly due to companies list extension, with which we will cooperate providing high welfare level of Azovstal families”.

Except that this project saves money for Azovstal employees and pensioners as well as increase their purchasing power, there is another positive moment. “Corporate card of Azovstal employee” project implementation raises service level and client service quality in specified commercial organizations, contributes to increase of sales and deductions into local budget for social city infrastructure formation. Social project introduction citywide promotes the relationship development between big and small business.
