On October 17, 2007 Bank ZENIT announced that its new branch, opened in Surgut, has become its 134th location including branches, affiliates, subsidiary branches, credit-cash offices and operating cash desks out of cash offices. ZENIT banking group is now present in 18 of 85 administrative regions of the Russian Federation, reported the press-centre of ZENIT.

The "Surgutsky" branch provides the full range of banking services for both corporate entities and individuals.

Commenting on the opening of new branch, the Chairman of the Management Board of Bank ZENIT Kirill O. Shpigun underlined: "Development of a regional branch network is one of the top priorities and one of the strategic missions for Banking group ZENIT. The economic growth potential of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District and the Tyumen Region gives the surety for further dynamic development of the regional financial system. Under these circumstances the opening of a new branch office will not only make banking services closer and more convenient for our customers, but it will also reduce running and operating costs and increase the efficiency of transactions".
