Mobile TeleSystems OJSC ("MTS" — NYSE: MBT), the largest mobile phone operator in Russia and the CIS, has announced through its press service that its consolidated subscriber base reached 77.97 million users as of September 30, 2007. During September 2007, MTS’ consolidated subscriber base increased by 1.91 million subscribers.
