OREANDA-NEWS. October 17, 2007. On June, 27, 2007, the new amended Charter was adopted by resolution of the Annual General Meeting of shareholders that changed the corporate name of the bank from JSCB “Promsvyazbank” (CJSC) into:

the corporate (full official) name: Открытое акционерное общество "Промсвязьбанк";

the abbreviated name: ОАО "Промсвязьбанк";

the corporate (full official) name in English: Open Joint-Stock Company Promsvyazbank; the abbreviated name in English: OJSC Promsvyazbank.

The change in the name of the bank resulted from the change in the type of the company: the change from the closed joint-stock company into the open joint-stock company.

On September, 5, 2007, the record was made by the Department of the Federal Tax Service for Moscow into the Uniform State Register of Legal Entities certifying the registration of the new amended Charter of the bank that contained the new name: ОАО "Промсвязьбанк" (OJSC Promsvyazbank).

The new amended Charter of the bank that contained the new name of the bank was received by the bank from the Moscow Main Territorial Department of the Bank of Russia, as well as the General Banking License for carrying out of banking transactions and the Precious Metals License for attracting deposits and making placements in precious metals, both bearing the new name of the bank.

The new corporate name of the bank will come into effect for use in business practice starting from October, 18, 2007. It is required, that starting from this date the new name of the bank ОАО "Промсвязьбанк" (OJSC Promsvyazbank), or the new name of its relevant department that bears the bank’s name, be specified in accounting and in other documents forwarded to the Bank.

Starting from October, 18, 2007, accounting documents, as well as other payment and transaction orders concerning the customers’ accounts with the bank, will not be accepted by the bank if they bear its former name. The operations under the specified documents will not be carried out, and these documents will be returned by the bank without execution to persons, who have presented them for transactions on accounts (to a payer or to a payee, respectively).

Please note that the bank’s customers are allowed to use the checks to be cashed in the bank from the check-books, issued by the bank earlier and bearing its former corporate name.

Starting from October, 18, 2007, transaction passports and other documents that are provided for by exchange control regulations but bearing the former name of the bank will also not be accepted by the Bank for execution.

You are kindly asked to inform your partners of the change in the corporate name of the bank, so that payment documents could be filled in by them correctly.

OJSC Promsvyazbank hereby confirms that the contracts it had entered into earlier are valid and ensures their performance (it is not required that the contracts be amended to introduce the new corporate name of the bank).

The change in the corporate name of the bank does not involve the change in its organisational form of business, in OGRN, INN, BIK, KPP (ОГРН, ИНН, БИК, КПП), correspondent account, address, in the license number and in other addresses and payment details of the bank.
