OREANDA-NEWS. On October 12, 2007 Tyumen hosted a press conference dedicated to the results of ROSNO’s operation in the region. The event has also focused on the problems and prospects for the development of insurance market in Tyumen and ROSNO’s plans to promote its business in the Western Siberia, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The journalists were met by the Deputy General Manager of GK ROSNO Mr. Maxim Chernin, Deputy General Manager and Sales Director of GK ROSNO Mr. Denis Brauze, and the head of ROSNO’s Western Siberian Directorate Mr. Alexei Rozhnev.

ROSNO’s Tyumen branch was opened in 1997. In 2004, as part of the regional network restructuring program, the Tyumen branch served as a basis for the Western-Siberian Directorate, presently controlling operation of 4 branches in the Tyumen Region, Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenets Areas.

In his speech, Mr. Maxim Chernin focused on the most important issues of the Russian insurance market development and ROSNO Group performance dynamics. "ROSNO ranks first among Allianz companies in Eastern Europe by the amount of premium collected in the non-life segment, and throughout 2004-2006 it has demonstrated the most intensive growth. In ROSNO’s viewpoint, one of the principal and most promising sources of growth can be found in the regional network development, and the Tyumen Region is no exception. While expanding its regional business operations, our company emphasizes uniform service quality standards, which should be made accessible to all ROSNO clients irrespectively of the location where those are rendered".

When summing up the performance results shown by ROSNO in Western Siberia, the Director of ROSNO’s Western-Siberian Directorate Mr. Alexei Rozhnev paid special attention to the following achievements: "Today, ROSNO ranks among the leaders in Western Siberia and is included in the TOP-5 of the region’s largest insurance companies. Last year, the Directorate more than doubled its business volumes. Overall, within the last two years, its business volumes have grown 4.5 times, considerably exceeding the average market growth rates observed in the local insurance sector. This significant growth can be attributed to the expanding agent network (today, it comprises about 400 insurance agents in the region), successful market promotion of customer-focused insurance programs, and active implementation of the European customer service quality standards. The Directorate possesses a unique experience in providing its clients the complete range of financial services: it has established the successfully operating branches of two ROSNO subsidiaries, Allianz ROSNO Asset Management and Allianz ROSNO Life.

The Tyumen branch cooperates with car service stations of all of the city’s official car dealers. Since 2006, the company operates a call centre and provides the Personal Manager service. In 2006 and 2007, several unique products for car owners were launched in the Tyumen regional market: European MOD Service, OMTPL-Euroservice, AGO-Million, and NS-Million.

The Directorate’s main strategic goals and objectives are: annual growth rate above average, simultaneous profit growth through portfolio diversification, and active development of the Western Siberian Directorate’s branches in Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk, and Noyabrsk.
