Changes in Management Structure of Baltika Breweries Announced
OREANDA-NEWS. Alexei Iljin has been appointed Director of the Company’s subsidiary, Baltika-Samara. He previously occupied the position of Director of the Baltika-Khabarovsk subsidiary, reported the press-centre of Baltika Breweries.
Alexei Iljin was born in St Petersburg in 1978. He graduated from the Leningrad State Academy with a specialisation in "automating production processes." He took a second higher degree in "economics and company management" at the Far Eastern State University of Communications.
Alexei Iljin began his career in Baltika in the year 2000 in the position of metalworker in repairs within the repairs and mechanics section of the Baltika-St Petersburg brewery. Beginning in July 2002, Alexei Iljin joined the design group involved in the construction of the brewery in Khabarovsk and from the time when that facility was commissioned he worked in various positions: as head of the mechanics department, chief engineer, and director of the subsidiary.
Vitaly Smirnov has been appointed Director of the Baltika Breweries subsidiary Baltika-Khabarovsk. He previously held the position of chief engineer in the brewery.
Vitaly Smirnov Smirnov was born in Komsomolsk-na-Amure in 1973. He graduated from the State Technical University. He took a second degree in the Law Institute of the RF Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Vitaly Smirnov began his career in Baltika in 2002 in the position of thermal technologies engineer within the steam and water supply department of the Baltika-Khabarovsk subsidiary. He went on to assume various positions in the subsidiary: head of the boiler facility in the steam and water supply department, chief of power engineering, and chief engineer.
Yuri Makariev has been appointed Deputy Director for Logistics of the Baltika-St. Petersburg brewery reporting directly to the director of the Baltika-St Petersburg brewery. He previously occupied the post of Director of the Baltika-Samara subsidiary.
Yuri Makariev worked as Director of the Samara subsidiary for 3 years and achieved significant success in developing the Baltika-Samara unit. In particular, under his leadership a complex project for tripling the output capacity of the brewery was implemented, something unique in the Company’s experience.
The new appointments are part of the programme of rotating managers. This programme is intended to develop a united approach among the Company’s top managers to managing its subsidiaries and subdivisions.
