OREANDA-NEWS. October 15, 2007. URSA Bank was awarded a Class A certificate from Rating Agency Expert recognizing the highest quality of its risk management. The certification results were announced at the conference “Risk Management in Russia – 2007”, held on October 10, 2007 in Moscow.

The risk management system Class A indicates URSA Bank’s conformity to the modern risk management standards, enabling the Bank’s stable development and preventing unpredicted external shocks.

Expert RA highlighted the Bank's credit scoring system for retail lending, wide range of risk grades for operational risks, and BBB policy.

According to URSA Bank Managing Director Oleg Novolodsky, the Bank uses highly sophisticated methods of risk management and software, enabling it to keep the Bank’s soundness at a high level. In addition, the risk management system is always kept up-to-date with the latest risk management tools and instruments.
