OREANDA-NEWS. October 15, 2007. At OAO Tulachermet reconstruction of the rectifier № 3 has been completed. The rectifier supplies power to casting machines of blast furnace shops. All works were executed by a team of electricians within two months. During the reconstruction electricians installed 18 switchyards of 6 kw equipped with more compact and reliable vacuum switches with the microprocessor block of protection. As a result of this reconstruction the productivity of the rectifier № 3 will increase. This year the workers of electrical department have already fulfilled similar replacements of the two rectifiers feeding such important industrial objects as installation drainage of slime, aspiration systems, slag granulation facility, slime pump at blast furnace № 3.
