OREANDA-NEWS. October 15, 2007. “Ilyichevskoye” Insurance Society received A mark by “Expert-Ukraine“rating agency, this proving a high level of stability against negative factors and a substantial level of the company’s openness.

In 2007 the rating list of insurance companies included indices of activities of 66 companies, the first “A” group of top open and transparent companies of the risk segment comprising 37 representatives of the real insurance field of Ukraine. “Ilyichevskoye” Insurance Society was mentioned in the rating list following the complex analysis of its activities in the year of 2006. The agency’s experts thoroughly investigated the documents, provided by the insurance companies, depicting all aspects of its activities. The awarded rating is to be valid within a year.
“Ilyichevskoye” Insurance Society has been operating on the insurance market of Ukraine since 1997. At the end of 2004 the company’s control packet was acquired by Mariupol Ilyich Iron and steel works (Donetsk region), the works now own 98% of its stock. 
The company has its branches in Mariupol, Donetsk, Simferopol, Kharkov, Kiev and has its representation offices in Theodosia, (Crimean autonomous republic), Uman, Novoazovsk, Uzhgorod (Zakarpatie region) and in Lvov.

During the first six months of 2007 the companies collected insurance contributions amounting to 2,962.5 thousand Hryvnas, this figure exceeds by 49.2% the amount collected during the same period of the previous year and paid insurance moneys amounting to 14,531 thousand Hryvnas, this figure exceeds the indices of the previous year by 33.6%. The profit of “Ilyichevskoye” Insurance Society in the first six months of 2007 is equal to 14,171.1 thousand hryvnas.
The company’s assets for July-1st, 2007 were estimated to be 82,607.5 th. Hryvnas, the company’s reserves -23,429.8 th. Hryvnas.

The company’s statutory fund amounts to 19 million Hryvnas.
“Ilyichevskoye” Insurance Society is a member of Transportation bureau of Ukraine and the League of insurance organizations of Ukraine. The company possesses licenses for 15 types of free-will insurance and 8 types of obligatory insurance.
The company is also a member of the National club of insurance payments and received the National Award, established by Ukrainian Financial Olympus” organization for development and implementation of a new package of insurance services.
