OREANDA-NEWS. October 15, 2007. In 2013 the plant will start producing three sets of equipment a year, First Vice Premier of Russia Sergey Ivanov said during a meeting on nuclear energy and nuclear machinery construction in Podolsk.

“Alstom-Atomenergomash is the first low speed turbine producer in Russia. It is a good project: it will help our plants to be active on the world market. The plant’s turbines will be supplied to new nuclear power plants in Russia and NPPs of Russian design abroad.”

“We have already signed a license contract for the production of Arabella low speed turbines at the plant. In 2011 we are planning to issue the first turbine. In 2013 the plant will start producing three sets a year. As soon as it begins to work at full capacity its annual sales are expected to exceed 1bln EUR,” Ivanov said.
