OREANDA-NEWS. Universal Bank of Development and Partnership (UBDP) disclosed that Bank of Georgia paid 81.7mln for the 88.9% stake in UBDP. The bank had equity of USD 30.9 mln as of 1 July 2007, implying a P/B of 3.0 for the deal. Millennium Capital's experts commented on the deal: "We consider the price paid for UBDP to be fair. It should serve as an orientation for similar banks in M&A deals."
