OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2007. A Gazprom delegation chaired by Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee is taking part in celebrations of the 450th Anniversary of Bashkortostan’s voluntary joining Russia.

Today Ufa has hosted a working meeting between Alexander Ananenkov and Murtaza Rakhimov, President of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

On behalf of Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee Alexander Ananenkov congratulated the Government and the people of the Republic of Bashkortostan on the memorable event and wished peace and prosperity.

Within the meeting the parties discussed the progress with executing the Agreement of cooperation between Gazprom and the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Particularly, the parties examined issues related to further development of gasification in Bashkiria and gas supplies to consumers of the Republic in 2008.
