S&P Upgrades International Moscow Bank Ratings
OREANDA-NEWS. On October 09, 2007 International Moscow Bank announced that Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services raised its counterparty credit ratings on IMB to "BBB/A-2" from "BBB-/A-3". The outlook is "Positive", reported the press-centre of International Moscow Bank.
The ratings on IMB benefit from its strong position in the market; high profitability and stable income structure, as well as successful integration into UniCredit Group (UniCredito Italiano SpA; A+/Stable/A-1), and, in particular, unification of its organizational system and risk management with UniCredit Group business practive.
The outlook Positive reflects Standard & Poor’s expectation that IMB will get support from its basic shareholder on fund-rising, capital, risk-management and IT. S&P also expects that IMB will continue expansion of the activity in accordance with its strategic purposes, and will even more improve the market position preserving the high quality of assets, sufficient capitalization and good financial indexes.
