OREANDA-NEWS. Management of British oil & gas concern (BP) supports participation of Russian-British TNK-BP in various international projects, as there are several countries worth investing by TNK-BP, Veles Capital disclosed with reference to BP’s president Richard Spies.

"One of the primary directions for TNK-BP’s international business is CIS countries," said Spies. Though he does not exclude that Russian-British company may enter some projects abroad. According to previous messages, entrance into new regions is included in currently designed TNK-BP’s concept of development to 2020.

To remind, TNK-BP previously announced its interest to enter projects on development hydrocarbon resources in Turkmenia and Venezuela.

Veles Capital analysts regard Spies’ statements as being adequate, "while his wish to lower backbone risks by diversifying activity market will contribute to stable operation of the company."
