OREANDA-NEWS. October 11, 2007. Aviation Expo China 2007, which took place in Beijing, the capital of China, closed its doors. During this exhibition Klimov JSC concluded a number contracts with Chinese companies to the sum of more than 12 million US dollars.

Klimov JSC is one of the oldest Russian partners of the People's Republic of China. At Aviation Expo China 2007 Klimov’s representatives carried out more than 30 meetings. According to results of the meetings they concluded agreements and contracts on delivery of power plants for helicopters, spare parts, service support.

Chinese partners showed a keen interest to the newest Klimov’s engine – VK-800, which was presented for the first time at the biggest International Air Show in Le Bourget in June 2007. This engine will be certified in 2009 and can be a part of power plant for the advanced multifunctional Chinese helicopter.

The Chinese side is keen on arrangement of certified repair facilities for helicopter engines developed by Klimov JSC. At present Klimov JSC is ready to help enterprises of Chinese People's Republic in the field of arrangement of the up-to-date, high quality service support of the helicopter engines.
