OREANDA-NEWS. On October 09, 2007 Anatoly Golomolzin published a book "Legal and Economic Basis and Enforcement Practice of the Antimonopoly Legislation in the Russian Electric-Power Industry", reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The publication is timed to the 55th anniversary of the Institute of Advanced Training of Civil Servants.

The book analyses practice of antimonopoly enforcement in the electric-power industry.

Along with basic provisions of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition", the book focuses on the latest changes related to adopting the new Law "On Protection of Competition". Analysis of antimonopoly enforcement practice is given in form of summing-up commentaries, as well as brief description of cases considered by the antimonopoly authorities.

It also described structural transformation in the electric-power industry and antimonopoly measures of control.

The book is based on materials and regulative and procedural documents of MAP Russia (the Ministry of Antimonopoly Policy), FAS Russia, Russia's Industry and Energy Ministry, Russian Ministry of Economic Development, RAO Unified Energy System of Russia, Market Administrator in Electric-Power Industry, the Agency for Balance Forecasting in Power Industry, the Energy Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Science, etc.
