OREANDA-NEWS. In January-September 2007, Commercial Seaport of Mariupol handled 13.084 million tonnes (+10.3%, year-on-year), the port’s press center reports according to RBC-Ukraine. In September 2007, Commercial Seaport of Mariupol handled 1.265.8 million tonnes (against 1.382.8 million tonnes in September 2006). In the reported period the port handled 628,200 tonnes of metal (49.6%), 199,800 tonnes of coal and coke (15.8%), 285,300 tonnes of clay (22.5%), 68,200 tonnes of sulfur (5.4%), 13,800 tonnes of grain cargo (1.1%).
