OREANDA-NEWS. Russian Post delegation headed by FSUE Russian Post First Deputy Director General A. Konoval took part in XI International Forum-Exhibition of postal industry POST-EXPO 2007 held in Barselona (Spain) 2-4 October this year. The event was held on the eve of the World Post Day.

POST-EXPO is International Forum that gives opportunities for the companies working in postal sphere to demonstrate the latest facilities and technical solutions in the postal industry, exchange opinions on solutions standing before the postal companies, improve business relations and close contracts. This year over 150 companies demonstrated their expositions at the exhibition, among them postal companies, suppliers of postal equipment. Over 4 thousand people from 100 countries all over the world visited the exhibition.

Russian postal employees have not only exchanged experience with foreign colleagues, but held the number of strategic negotiations with the representatives of Elsag Spa and Siemens. The talks concerned the project on setting up automated sorting centers.
