OREANDA-NEWS. Promsvyazbank has received from Moscow Central Territorial Department of the Bank of Russia documents certifying an official change of name to Open Joint-Stock Company Promsvyazbank, or OJSC Promsvyazbank for short.

Department of Federal Tax Service of Moscow filed a new edition of the Articles of Incorporation of Promsvyazbank with the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.

Under these Articles of Incorporation, Promsvyazbank changed its type of joint-stock company from a closed to an open company. The new edition of the Articles of Incorporation was approved at the annual general shareholder's meeting held on June 27, 2007.

In line with the change of the name the Bank of Russia issued Promsvyazbank a new License to carry out banking operations.
