OREANDA-NEWS. Guryev Metallurgical Plant/GMP, Guryevsk, Kemerovo region, part of the “ESTAR” Group/ increased bar production in January-September of 2007 by 8.3% up to 155,437 t.

Steel production grew by 5.6% up to 157,735 t over the reporting period.

Saleable metal production is 149,000 t /2.06 billion RR/. Export of metal products in 2007 is 18,200 t which accounts for 12.2% of the total sales of the plant’s metal-roll.

According to the performance results in September, the staff of Guryev Metallurgical Plant smelted 19,300 t of steel; roll production reached 17,130 t, steel grinding balls production - 5,000 t.

“Guryev Metallurgical Plant” became part of the “ESTAR” managing company in July of 2007.
