OREANDA-NEWS. “Ural-press-inform” - The staff of the Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant has congratulated Zlatoust teachers on their professional holiday.

The annual campaign “Happy Teacher’s Day!” has become a tradition for Zlatoust metallurgists. Members of the Young Professionals Council of the plant visited all the secondary schools, a music school and 2 sponsored basic educational institutions – college No.28 and a Metallurgical college. On behalf of 10 thousand employees of ZMP the young metallurgists congratulated the teachers on the holiday and presented them with the company’s calendars and cakes.

For many years ZMP has patronized educational institutions of the Metallurgical district in Zlatoust. These include 8 schools, 14 kindergartens, a college, a technical vocational school, a training centre and Orphanage. In the framework of preparation for the new school year the plant sponsors repair works in the premises of these institutions. In 2007 the plant assigned over 500,000 RR for sponsorship.
