OREANDA-NEWS. October 9, 2007. Atomenergoprom holding has been given 100% stake in Izotop OJSC (Yekaterinburg) and 74.8% stake in Venta machine building plant (Nizhnaya Tura, Sverdlovsk region).

Thus, Atomenergoprom has already received the shares of 25 of 31 nuclear JSCs it is to take over under Rosatom’s program for reorganization of the civil nuclear sector. One of the biggest nuclear companies in Russia, producer and supplier of nuclear fuel, TVEL Corporation, has not joined the holding yet.

According to Rosatom’s plans, the formation of the holding is to be finished in the first quarter of 2008. By that time the holding will have received the shares of 55 federal state unitary enterprises that are to be reorganized into joint stock companies.
