OREANDA-NEWS. On October 06, 2007 the state aviation concern Aviation of Ukraine and the Austrian company Luftfahrttechnik signed a cooperation memorandum, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.

As a representative of the Aviation of Ukraine told, 700 million EUR are supposed to be invested through 2021 into projects of AN jumbo planes construction.

According to the Aviation of Ukraine, the agreement envisages the participation of the Austrian company in modernization of AN planes, serial cooperation production of modernized planes, as well as AN certification upon international standards. The project will be invested by a group of banks, led by Raiffeisenbank.
