OREANDA-NEWS. Ukrsotsbank successfully implements 2007 plan on installation of 1,500 POS terminals in the commercial network. Already now the Bank acquiring network comprises more than 1,050 POS terminals, reported the press-centre of Ukrsotsbank.  

"At the beginning of 2007 the trade acquiring started to development rapidly, already for July the cards turnover has increased fourfold compared with the beginning of the year," Anton Tiutiun explains. These results, he said, were achieved primarily through cooperation with large network of clients. Among them there is a network of Velyka Kyshenia and EKO market food supermarkets, network of TNK and Ukrtatnafta filling stations, the network of Spormaster and Brooks sportswear shops, a network of Leskal elite and perfumery cosmetics shops, network of Epicentre construction hypermarkets and many others.

Anton Tiutiun states that the acquiring network increase is profitable for the Bank’s partner companies as well as for card holders. The first get a chance to strengthen their competitiveness through modern acquiring services implementation; increase sales turnover by attracting new clients card holders; minimize the risk with counterfeit notes, or the cost of collection (payment cards are safer and more convenient tool for payment), etc. For clients it is not necessary to carry large amounts of cash (which itself is uncomfortable and sometimes dangerous) and at the same time card holders can afford unplanned purchases at any time.
