OREANDA-NEWS. October 8, 2007. In order to accomplish high oil and gas production within “The State Program on the development of the fuel-energy complex of Azerbaijan Republic (2005-2015)”, verified with the decree of the President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev, SOCAR is committed to intensify the exploitation of the wells under operation, and to bore new wells. In this regard, Complex Drilling Work Trust undertook primary responsibility for the increase of production. The assiduous staff of the Trust worked hard to intensify the drilling activities and achieved impressive results. Accordingly, Trust started drilling activities in some wells these days.

Absheron Drilling Activity Department is engaged in drilling activities in the well № 3996 and in the well № 3993, in Balakhani oilfield. Also, Qobustan Exploration and Drilling Activity Department successfully carries out drilling activities in the well 106 №, in Muradkhanli oilfield and Siyazan Drilling Expedition carries out activities in the well № 1751, in Seadan oilfield. All above mentioned wells are expected to be exploited soon. Specialists consider that altogether daily production of the wells is going to be 35-40 tons.
