OREANDA-NEWS. October 8, 2007. The delegation of the RF Ministry of the Interior headed by Nikolay Rogozhkin, Commander in Chief of the internal forces of the RF Ministry of the Interior, General of the Army visited KAMAZ Inc.

The members of the top brass were accompanied by Asgat Safarov, Minister of the Interior of Tatarstan, Sergey Kogoghin, Director General of KAMAZ Inc. and Ildar Khalikov, Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny.

The delegation visited the mother assembly line, the plant Remdiesel and the R&D Center of the company. The guests watched the latest models including the vehicles created for the internal forces of the RF Ministry of the Interior. The armoured vehicle Vystrel was modernized and went through tests in almost field conditions. According to Nikolay Rogozhkin, the armoured vehicle can be used by the interior forces to lose the current tasks of the ministry (struggle against terrorism and banditry, guarding of important state objects, public order ensuring).

The Commander in Chief noted that the technological policy of the Ministry of the Interior is aimed at the search of the optimum alternative to supply the units of the internal forces with the wheel equipment the basis of which is unification, maintainability and ease of use. According to Nikolay Rogozhkin, KAMAZ has got enough models acceptable to equip the internal forces of the Ministry of the Interior.
