Eurasian Bank Signs Agreement about Syndicated Loan for $51,5 m
OREANDA-NEWS. On October 05, 2007 Eurasian bank JSC (Almaty), bonds of which are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) category "A" official list had provided KASE with the press-release with next contention, reported the press-centre of KASE:
Commerzbank AG ("Commerzbank"), Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch ("Deutsche Bank") and Raiffeisen Zentralbank Osterreich AG ("RZB") (together the Book-runners) are glad to inform that Agreement about Syndicated Loan for amount of USD51.500.000 with Eurasian Bank, Kazakhstan (Eurasian Bank or Bank) was signed on September 25, 2007.
Borrowed funds will be used for financing of separate trade contracts of strategic clients of Eurasian bank.
Main parameters of credit:
- Size of credit: USD 51.500.000
- Margin: 1,60% APR
- Term: 370 days (plus option for prolongation)

Chairman of Board of Eurasian Bank, Mr.Konopasevitch had commented: "in conditions of current complex situation on foreign capital markets, Eurasian bank was glad with final sum of syndicate. Successful finishing of the given deal - is the proof that despite the current market volatility and some caution of international participants, banks-partners nevertheless, are trusting us and are ready to provide support to Kazakhstan banks by provision of syndicated credits".
