OREANDA-NEWS. Over January-September 2007 Tatneft raised its oil extraction up by 1.7% versus the same period of time in 2006, achieving a total of 19.429 mln tons, with 652.8 th tons above schedule, reported Veles-Capital with reference to Tatneft's corporate newspaper.

Last month Tatneft gathered 2.089 mln tons of oil, exceeding the level of September 2006 by 0.5%. The given information confirms estimates announced by company's management earlier, and could become a proof that company has broke the trend of falling oil extraction rate, which haunted company for last 2-3 years.

Oil companies operating on the Tatarstan territory have extracted 24.041 mln tons of oil over January-September in general, exceeding results of similar period of 2006 by 2.5%.
