OREANDA-NEWS. On September 29, Neftekamsky Plant plc - the daughter enterprise of KAMAZ - celebrated its 30th anniversary, KAMAZ's press-service reported.

The leading Bashkir enterprise celebrated its anniversary in the Palace of Culture and Technology "Neftyanik" on the eve of the Machine Builder's Day. Murtaza Rakhimov, President of Bashkortostan and Sergey Kogoghin, Director General of KAMAZ Inc. together with Raif Malikov, Director General of NEFAZ Inc. examined the exhibition of up-to-date NEFAZ buses, reconstructed plant capacities - welding and assembly lines of the famous low-floor buses.

The workers of the Neftekamsk automobile plant timed the opening of new productions to the holiday. The second line of the painting complex in dump truck production started on the day of the anniversary. The new painting line with a shotblast plant of the German company "Schlick" is designed to process 25 thousand frames and other components a year. The analogous line for automotive body painting preparation has been working more than a year. The use of this current technology allowed to improve the quality of dump truck painting cardinally. About 80 million rubles were invested into the reconstruction of the second line.

Sergey Kogoghin noted the outstanding achievements of the daughter enterprise of KAMAZ. According to him, new buses NEFAZ-VDL satisfying all European requirements deserve special attention. Every third bus of a big class produced in Russia is made in Neftekamsk. NEFAZ Inc. is the largest plant in the country producing special superstructures on the chassis of KAMAZ vehicles and other equipment. According to Raif Malikov, the enterprise always implements advanced manufacturing sciences, opens new productions. For the past few years the plant invested about one billion rubles of its own funds into development of new productions and investment projects.

The share of NEFAZ in the total volume of the republican automobile building production is 15%. Since 1999 about 8 thousand new workplaces were created, to date 11 thousand people work at the plant. The annual turnover of NEFAZ makes up over 8 billion rubles. This year it is planned to launch products to the sum of no less than 10 billion rubles and net 400 million rubles. It will help to further develop production and resolve the social issues.
