Hereby we inform you that following a decision of the annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the Joint-stock Bank of the Gas Industry “Gazprombank” (Closed Joint-stock Company) (the “Bank”) (the Minutes of the meeting № 01 dated 26.06.2007), on 08.08.2007 the Central Bank of the Russian Federation has registered the amendments to the Сharter of the Bank to reflect change of the Bank’s name and type of the joint-stock company.  The Moscow office of the Federal Taxation Service has made an entry on registration of these amendments into the Uniform State Register of Legal Entities on 31.08.2007.

Pursuant to the receipt by the Bank of 03.10.2007 of the registered amendments № 5 to the Charter of the Bank and a respective notice on such registration from the Moscow Main Regional Division of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation we inform you as follows:

new full commercial name of the Bank in Russian – “Газпромбанк” (Открытое акционерное общество);

new short commercial name of the Bank in Russian – ГПБ (ОАО);

new full commercial name of the Bank in English - Gazprombank (Open Joint – stock Company);

new short commercial name of the Bank in English – GPB (OJSC).

Change of the name and type of the joint-stock company of the Bank does not require any amendments to be made to agreements (contracts) concluded by the Bank or its rights and obligations thereunder.

Payment details of the Bank (except for the name), its registered office address and phone numbers remain unchanged.
