OREANDA-NEWS. October 5, 2007. The regular proceedings of the OJSC “Aeroflot” Board of Directors took place, where the first six month’s figures for 2007 the Derivative and financial-business activities were totaled.

For the first six month period of this year 3773.5 passenger traffic occurred (increase in comparison to the similar period of the previous year – 17,9%), 11413.3 passenger/mileage (increase in comparison to the similar period of the previous year-15,9%) 

The revenue from shipments by air and air services for the first six months of 2007 constitutes 33531.88 millions of rubles (increase in comparison to the similar period of the previous year – 21.7%)

Total expenses compile 31945.13 millions (increase in comparison to the similar period of the previous year-15.4%). Net profit for the first six month period of 2007 is 3247.2 millions of rubles.

Forecast milestones for the top-level activity of the “Aeroflot” group of companies for 2007-2009 were approved.

The contracts of subleasing of the Being-737-500 aircrafts by OJSC “Aeroflot” from the “Aeroflot-Nord” and “Aeroflot-Don” were also approved. The aircrafts are meant to replace TU-134 on Aeroflot routes before an entry of “Sukhoy superjet-100” into operation.
