Russian Railways Trading House Awarded Prize for Exports
OREANDA-NEWS. Russian Railways Trading House received a prize for Exports of Rail Technology at the India Rail Tech 2007 exhibition held from 20 to 22 September in Delhi at the Pragati Maidan exhibition and convention centre, reported the press-centre of Russian Railways.
Over 100 companies from India, Russia, Germany, Bahrain and other countries took part in the exhibition, which was visited by over 5,000 people.
Russian Railways Trading House and a number of other Russian companies were present at the exhibition, which was also attended by Mr. Rao, India’s Deputy Rail Minister, Sanjiv Kumar Lochia, Director of the Minister of Urban Government Construction, Machesh Kumar, head of the Indian Rail project department and Sandip Becal, chairman of the exhibition’s organising committee.
The Russian exhibits attracted strong interest from the other participants in the exhibition and the many visitors.
At the conference on new technology, the head of the department of automation at the VNIIAS institute, Vasily Zorin, gave a lecture on “The Application of the GPS/GLONASS Satellite Navigation Systems in Management Systems and the Safety of Train Movements.”
