OREANDA-NEWS. The Federal Antimonopoly Service of RF adopted a resolution on granting JSC “IDGC of the Center” a petition on the take-over of 11 distribution grid companies ( JSC “Belgorodenergo”, JSC “Bryanskenergo”, JSC “Voronezhenergo”, JSC “Kurskenergi”, JSC “Kostromaenergo”, JSC “Lipetskenergo”,JSC “Tverenergo”, JSC “Smolenskenergo”, JSC “Orelenergo”, JSC ‘Tambovenergo”, JSC “Yarenergo”) in accordance with articles #28,33 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”.

The contract between JSC “IDGC of the Center”  and the distribution grid companies above-mentioned will be signed at the beginning December of 2007, whereupon the contract shall be submitted for approval at the Extraordinary Meeting of DGC Shareholders.

As previously stated, DGC takeover by JSC “IDGC of the Center” is the final stage of the power grid complex restructuring in Central Russia.  JSC “IDGC of the Center”  will be established as a single operational (production) company with a market value of assets of 30 bln rubles as a result of restructurization.

It is planned to  accomplish IDGC the  takeover of the stated above 11 DGCs no later than the third quarter of 2008”.
