Postman Was Awarded Medal of Honour
OREANDA-NEWS. October 2, 2007. According to the Order of the President of the Russian Federation V. Putin, postman of post office №36 situated in Tambov A. Kriventsova was awarded Medal of Honour for Services Rendered to the Country", IInd Class posthumously.
On 28th of September 2007 the representatives of Administration of Tambov region solemnly handed the state award to N. Krivintseva, sister of the postman killed in the execution of official duty.
On 6th of November 2006 postman of 36th post office Antonina Kriventsova was assaulted. The criminal wounded her back. Being seriously hurt the victim resisted the offender actively, nevertheless he managed to run and hide with stolen money. The postman died in the hospital. The criminal is still not found.
For three years of work at post A. Kriventsova got the reputation of conscientious and industrious employee. Her colleagues and pensioners respected and trusted her. Both the directorate and customers has gratituded her much.
We are proud that this woman has been our employee. Even when Kriventsova was in danger she thought of her professional and human responsibilities. Pensioners’ money was more important for her than her life, noted Deputy Director of AFPS in Tambov region R. Tolkachev.
