OREANDA-NEWS. In the middle of September 2007, SystemGroup had completed implementation of a transport management system at a transport unit of Ideks company, the leader of the meat industry, the press-service of the company reports.

Ideks had been involving SystemGroup specialists to optimize its logistics processes. The choice was made in favor of SystemGroup owing to its client-oriented and individual approach: the choice of solutions is based on a client's needs, not on the solutions portfolio. Moreover, SystemGroup offers the entire package of services - from management consulting to a complete Supply Chain Management automation, including maintenance.

SystemGroup specialists have implemented so-called Antor solutions - Antor LogisticsMaster and Antor MonitorMaster - and mounted the first set of GPS equipment for transport monitoring, Gelix - 2 .

The implementation of the system resulted in raising the efficiency of transport exploitation, minimization of the route planning time, receiving operative data about vehicles location, and improving the quality of its services.
