OREANDA-NEWS. Director of the "Far- Eastern  bureau" of OJSC "Transsiberian reinsurance corporation" Larissa Bykova took part in "reinsurers fair" organized by the Far-Eastern union of insurers. This event took place in Vladivostok and gathered more than 80 representatives of 27 companies of Far-Eastern federal district.

On the first day a seminar " Reinsurance: underwriting, technologies " was held. On the second day presentations of reinsurance companies working in this region took place. Speech of the director of the "Far-Eastern bureau" of OJSC "Transsiberian reinsurance corporation" was devoted to the results of activity of "Transsiberian Re" in 2006. Besides, participants of a seminar acquainted with a reinsurance program of the Corporation for 2007-2008. 

It was decided to organize similar meetings annually in order that insurers of the Far East could get acquainted with operating reinsurance programs, to learn about the trends on the reinsurance market, to discuss the latest news in the sphere of reinsurance.

The Far-Eastern representative office of OJSC "Transsiberian reinsurance corporation" is established in 2003 in Nakhodka and over this period managed to take leading positions on the reinsurance market of Primorski Kray and all the Far East.
