OREANDA-NEWS. Director of reinsurance department of OJSC "Transsiberian reinsurance corporation" Anna Fadeeva speak at the 7th International Yalta forum of the insurance market participants.

Theme of the speech was "Tendencies of development of the Russian reinsurance market". One of the main points of the speech was the statement, that despite of nominal decrease in premium collection and reduction of a number of participants during last two years, Russian professional reinsurance market successfully develops.

Moreover Russian reinsurers are on the leading positions in the markets of CIS countries and their prospects are quite optimistic, despite of a number of legislative measures taken during last years by the countries of Commonwealth toughening the requirements to non-resident reinsurers.
Quality changes on the Russian reinsurance market are noted in the report. Russian companies increase their capitalization, expand reinsurance capacities, including by means of portfolio protection with the leaders of the world market. The following tendency is also noted: more and more companies are aiming to receive an international rating.
