OREANDA-NEWS. The first Russian specialized service center of repair and maintenance of the KAMAZ automobile equipment with gas engines opened in Naberezhnye Chelny. It was organized on the production basis of RariTEK Inc., the official dealer of KAMAZ Inc, reported the press-centre of KAMAZ.

Sergey Kogoghin, Director General of KAMAZ Inc. took part in the opening and presentation ceremony. There were also guests from Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and Gdansk (Poland) – the representatives of the partners of KAMAZ and RariTEK developing the gas theme, the specialists of NEFAZ Inc. – the subsidiary of the company – which produces NEFAZ buses on the KAMAZ chassis working on diesel oil and natural gas.

The gas area is one of the most perspective and priority lines of development of the KAMAZ automotive and bus equipment. The company developed this direction jointly with “Uraltransgas” Inc., the subsidiary of “Gasprom” PLC. The experts consider that the meaning of natural gas as the cheapest, the most affordable and ecological energy resource for vehicles and buses will grow. Gas becomes one of the basic kinds of automobile fuel. Precisely this fact explains why KAMAZ pays such serious attention to the gas area.
