OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2007. Some time before the 68-th anniversary of Gubkin city, the traditional exhibition of flowers was held in its main square. The first place was taken by OAO "Kombinat "KmAruda". The participants of this exhibition did all their best to surprise the jury and visitors with the originality of compositions, brightness of flower colours, their new ideas. As always, the exhibits of OAO " Kombinat “KmAruda " have gathered the greatest quantity of attendances. All visitors paid a special attention to the composition called "Let’s Protect the Nature" - a fountain exhaling an slight fog, and covered by different plants and flexible rods. Themes for many expositions were scooped from the life of the enterprise, history of its development. The jury of the competition separately awarded a composition called "the Rhapsody of Love", made of exotic flowers. It is necessary to note, that the miners had been trying to win this prestigious competition for nine years.
