OREANDA-NEWS. Over 1H 2007 Raspadskaya, a coal producer, earned 90.419 mln USD of net profit by IAS, exceeding 1H 2006 results by 77.5%, the company's press release discloses . Sales of reported period formed 338.834 mln USD (growth of 55.2%), EBITDA rose 66% to 198.884 mln USD. The rise of income was secured by growth of coal sales by 33.4% in real values, and growth of sales prices 9.4%. Net profit margin rose by over 8.1 p.p. versus 1H 2006, profit before tax margin upped 10.7 p.p., operating profit upped 11.6 p.p., gross profit rose 18.1 p.p., EBITDA margin added 3..9 p.p.
