Rosenergoatom’s web-portal is based on WebBuilder system. It comprises the web-sites of all 10 nuclear power plants of Russia. It also has two independent educative web-sites: “Virtual Nuclear Energy Museum” and “Nuclear Energy for School-children and Students.”

One of the key goals of the project was to create a simplified and clearer structure, a comprehensive resource ensuring easy and quick access to necessary information. The new web-site has an “Operational Information” module, a resource with daily refreshed statistics and archive of the performance of the nuclear power plants. Hence, anybody concerned can get at any moment precise information about the performance and the radiation situation at any of the plants.

The “Nuclear Power Plants” section has an inter-active map of the existing NPPs and the ongoing and planned construction projects.

The restructuring of Rosenergoatom’s web-site was the final stage of the company’s re-branding campaign. The objective of that campaign was to create a unified corporate internet resource that would establish “living” communication with target audiences. While the old site was mostly a source of information, the new one is a source of education and a strong channel of on-line communication, says the director general of the Press Center of Nuclear Power Industry Dina Kulikova.

The portal has been designed jointly with Actis Systems, the leading supplier of solutions for e-business in Russia and the author of over 600 projects for such companies as VTB 24, Gazprombank, Raiffeisen Bank, Bee-Line, Rostelecom, Microsoft, Sibneft.
