Sibir announces that in accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules of the Financial Services Authority, it was informed on 21 September 2007 by M&G Investments Limited that, following an increase in the issued share capital of the Company, Prudential Plc and certain of its subsidiary companies are interested in 24,673,695 ordinary shares of 10 pence each, representing approximately 6.38 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
