OREANDA-NEWS. September 26, 2007. Specialists of JSC “SibCOTES” (a member of Holding E4 Group) took premier places in the Second All-Russian Contest for young specialists of engineering profile in the sphere of electric power engineering organized by RAO “UES of Russia”. The final stage of the contest was held from the 18th to the 22d of September in Gelendzhik (Krasnodarsky kray). Around 200 works were presented to the jury for their consideration. A special attention was paid by the jury to the direct participation of the speakers in the projects underlying the presentation.  

Four specialists represented JSC “SibCOTES”. Anton Milto, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Sales took the first place in the section “Management in electric power engineering”. He made presentation on “Strategic innovative management in engineering company under the conditions of changing environment”. He also got the audience choice award following the results of presentations. Andrey Yaroshchuk, Engineer of the Automated Control Systems and Metrology Department, took the third place. He made presentation on “Development and adjustment of automated power control systems for 350 MW power unit” in the section “Automated control systems for facilities in electric power engineering”.  

Semen Kandakov, Senior Engineer of the Electrical Department, made presentation on “Analysis of thermal operating conditions of cable monophase lines with isolation made of cross-linked polyethylene” (section “Electrical equipment, industrial automation, relay protection & automation of stations and networks”) and took the fourth place. Anna Sergeeva, Engineer of the Perspective Development Department submitted report on “Development and analysis of circular furnace boiler for 350 MW brown coal fired power unit” (section “Heat-mechanic, nature-conservation and water-chemical direction and processes related to it”).     

Andrey Yaroshchuk, the only representative from the Siberian region, was elected for the Board of Guardians of “The union of young specialists from organizations of scientific-design complex “Young Energy” established at the same time when the contest was conducted. The new non-commercial organization is called to promote professional development of specialists, carry out interregional and international scientific, business and cultural relations and establish conditions for efficient experience exchange.
