OREANDA-NEWS. September 25, 2007. Corporation MIRAX GROUP is about to actively develop a transport network in the Big City area. The responsibility for complex development of the area which MIRAX GROUP has to take upon itself stems from the fact that the corporation owns some building sites in this territory, like business complexes Federation and Mirax Plaza, the Fili-Krovlia factory and the First Moscow V.A.Kazakov instrument-making factory industrial zones where residential complexes are going to be erected in the near future.

The main part of the transport infrastructure facilities will be concentrated around the administrative and commercial center Mirax Plaza. Their projects are now at different stages of coordination. Here, all kinds of transport connections will be available, except for, perhaps, aerospace.

The Mirax Plaza business center will be connected to business complex Federation by a suspended transport system called Light Rail System. It will allow to unload the traffic in the City area: the people working in MIBC will be able to leave cars in the big parking lot of business center Mirax Plaza designed for 2950 parking spaces and then proceed to City by monorail across the Moskva River. Passing between the two towers of Administrative Commercial Complex Mirax Plaza to the opposite bank of the river, the monorail will run along the Third Transport Ring, cross it and approach the Federation Tower. In the future, the existing project will be extended and the length of the monorail will increase.

To prevent traffic jams at the exit from the Third Transport Ring to Kutuzovsky Avenue resulting from the increase of traffic moving to АCC Mirax Plaza, the MIRAX GROUP experts have provided for the construction of a separate ramp from ТТR to Kulnev Street.

Essential changes will be made to the subway activity. The 900-meter long track section of the Fili line of the Moscow subway running from station Kutuzovskaya to station Fili will get encased in a tunnel. On its roof, there will be a highway leading to the Kutuzovsky prospect alternate route. The subway station Kutuzovskaya will be connected with a passage to the second floor of the ACC Mirax Plaza podium where a recreation and trade area will be located. From there, visitors will be able to get to any point of the Administrative and Commercial Center.

Besides, the plans of the Greater Moscow-City developers include the reconstruction of the ring railway to provide for the opportunity of high-speed connection between the business district and airports Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo. The passenger platform will be built near ACC Mirax Plaza.

The water transport infrastructure will also be developed. A new mooring for river steam-ships and boats is going to be built on Taras Shevchenko quay.

When developing the above projects, MIRAX GROUP will act as Principal Employer and in specific cases only as investor, engaging contractors specializing in erection of transport infrastructure.
