OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2007. In the course of the Fourth International Investment Forum “Sochi 2007” the State Corporation “The Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)” entered into an Agreement on Cooperation.

The Agreement was signed by Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and Stavropol region Governor Alexandr Chernogorov.

Under the Agreement the two sides are determined to promote long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation. The Document provides for working out schemes for raising funds to finance investment projects carried out in the territory of the Stavropol region.
Under the Agreement Vnesheconombank will explore opportunities for financing projects using its own funds as well as funds of international financial institutions and conduct expert examination of foreign banks’ proposals.

The two sides have also agreed to assist each other in arranging and holding meetings, organizing business trips and other events associated with carrying out joint projects.

The Agreement signed, demonstrates Vnesheconombank’s intention to invest funds in the real sector of the Russian economy and promote the region’s socio-economic development.
