OREANDA-NEWS. TransGroup and TransCreditBank have completed a deal to acquire a controlling, 95% stake in Transmash in the city of Engels in Saratovskaya Region. The amount of the deal was not discolosed.

Transmash is one of Russia’s biggest producer’s of rail goods wagons, including universal fitted platforms and snow-clearing equipment.

It is now planned to increase the production capacity of Transmash by 30% in 2008.
