OREANDA-NEWS. According to the press-service of OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez”, the entity completed the reconstruction of two lube units which cost 120 million rubles. The lube unit at OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez” is the largest department with the staff of 350 people. The reconstruction began last spring and at this moment the works are completed. Now the units are brought to operating conditions. “Apart from the output of the final product of the higher quality and lower self-cost, works at the lube unit are oriented at the improvement of the ecological situation and industrial safety.” –said the representative.

According to him, the submerged refrigerators were replaced by 4 air coolers which will allow to avoid using water completely and will help to prevent 100% of phenol from entering into return and waste waters. On the top of that pumping facilities were also replaced that is instead of existing steam piston pumps there were installed rotary pumps with double face seals which secure impermeability. “Next year analogous reconstruction will be completed at 39-2 and 36-3 lube units ” - said a representative of the entity, specifying that preliminary works cost will be more than 100 million rubles.
